That's a long shot at a deer. My back fence (pipeline) was 432 yards and dropped 70', from the hill on the neighbors place to the other side was 541 yards and dropped 114'. One of the hunters shot one standing near my back gate, he said he walked it in as he was far enough off the deer did not run off at the shot. Said it took him over 5 shots.
Well done and a heck of a double drop tine buck.
