When I lived in Houston I would Drive up to Market Hall. Its not good I think when Foot Doctors , and rain gutter, candles, and bullsh@# companies come in the Vendors started to pull out.

I used to go to the Fort Worth one. Then the price of parking went out of sight and entry fees escalated. So, I was out approx $30.00 to go in and look around. Last time was about 4 years ago.

It's getting that way around here even at the smaller "gun shows." They ought to start naming them "A Few Knives and Blades, But Mostly Jewelry Show." The sponsors of the shows seem to be happy with selling table space, not with putting on gun shows anymore.

One thing that bothered me most about shows was the way vendors would treat patrons. Some of those guys are richards. Also, it's a place for vendors to rip off those that don't know better. I could have stuff delivered for cheaper than gun show prices, considering entry fee and time, they ain't worth it. Haven't been to one in a long time.

Gun shows have been on a down hill slide for a decade or better. I worked for one of the larger dealers back in the 90's and they were going down then. After I worked for the dealer I was LE and could get in on my badge, I don't think I'd pay to go to one anymore. Sad deal about the Market Hall show, that used to be quite the spectacle!

I knew Market Hall was very sad and not worth the time anymore, but didn’t realize that Lewisville was done. Good to hear that Tulsa is at least still doing ok. I may have to go next year.

It's possible that the Market Hall show will get bigger/better. DACA is going out to Southfork, but Premier will be doing shows at Market Hall starting next spring. She puts on the best shows in the area (original Fort Worth Show). I know she will market it better than DACA did, whether she can bring in the dealers and customers though is the question.

Simply too many shows and promoters getting greedy. In the late 70's and early 80's there were 8-10 shows a year in DFW. Now there is a big hall every weekend and some small halls in outlying areas. With 50 to 75 shows per year, the market has been flooded and the dealers that had storefront businesses could not make enough to pay expenses and compete with the "one truck chuck" folks who did shows on weekends out of their garages or an online only location.Scale back the number of shows and reduce the "non gun related" items and the numbers will probably improve. This Forum is Awesome and I thank the Mods for their time and effort to maintain a high quality and respectful site. And that's all I have to say about that!

She has way too much crap at her gun shows some times I think I am at a fee market or a Craft sale or a pet store You can keep on going .some times you see a Gun table or Knife table Just my Opinion
