What are some of your favorites? Most of the ones I really like are probably places I should NOT be in, nor have I gone in. The most memorable one for me has gone away, but was in the San Antonio Medical center for many, many years - The Recovery Room. And a few days ago I was driving around the back of my old high school to pick up a Blynd (the black plastic ones) and saw... The Retox Bar. My new favorite!

When I was stationed at Ft. Hood a bar in Lampasas called the Rattlesnake Inn was of limits. I drove by it every time I went to Austin or San Antonio, from the looks of it, Rattlesnake Den would have been appropriate.

There used to be a biker bar on old highway 80 east called the Humble Dump. Rough looking place, and the crowd was the same.
