Neat markings. Saw one like that around here several years ago. I guess a bit of Melanism showing up.

We have doe that come to the feeder all the time with that same coloration. We also have a few all black doe and 1 buck. This is in Harrison county near Hallsville.

I have had several on my place here and seen them on other ranches I have managed. This buck is one I killed in 2014 and he had a really black forehead/face and stripe down his back.
