I certainly agree that someone driving a county road and working a light will get attention every time. If I am the landowner, I would also have a problem with someone "easing the barbwire in my perimeter fence". I think that I would find a better way to access the blind...

Fortunately, I'm the landowner and don't have any plans to run cattle on it. The area where I eased it will be replaced with a gate eventually.

I have one of those ladders that make it easy to go up and over barbwire fence... though it stuck out like a sore thumb last season and I figured it's more inviting and less conspicuous than simply easing the barbwire.

You gotta admit, it looks suspicious I’d actually be glad if my neighbor called the GW if he saw someone slipping thru a fence.

Might be worth the time to put a 'gap' in that spot. Easier to gain access and your neighbor upon seeing it...will/should recognize it as an entry point.
