Yesterday afternoon around 3:30 an elderly man suffering with dementia in our neighborhood got out of his house unnoticed by his wife and wondered off. The weather was cold and raining with temps falling. Many, many people have been out looking for him throughout the night and into today.
Many neighbors, the Sheriffs office, DPS, Game Wardens, and Texas Rescue search and rescue teams with dogs are still searching. My wife was out until about 4:30 am and back at it at 7am.
Just prayers that he is found soon, for the searchers safety, and the mans family.

Many years ago on a very cold Christmas Eve we answered a similar call. However, ours didn't turn out well. I'm very glad this gentleman was found. God is Great.
