Good day all,
Wanting to know what precision rifle companies are based in and around Texas? I will be travelling to Texas in January 2020 to meet up with past clients and friends, I have a day or two spare between travelling that I would like to fill with meeting precision rifle builders, networking and discussing a form of collaboration. I have Googled most and been in touch with some but wanted to know if there is any on this forum that would be interested in putting together a meeting and having a chat while I am out there.

^^^Jason built a custom rifle for me, designed custom handholds, and doped it for me. Showed up to his range and was banging steel at 800. Best decision I've ever made! He's a quality guy! Definitely take the time to meet up with him!

I believe you will be staying in Austin for a bit. Just south of there in New Braunfels is Hill Country Rifles.

Definitely take the time to meet up with him! Ditto -- he did all of this for me as well. Most custom rifle makers don't spend a half-day with you working through what you need on the backend

There's a group/club around D/FW but I've lost track of them. I know they have a range between Fort Worth and Denton. I believe they are called the North Texas Precision Rifle Club. My brother Shelley was a barrel cutter but is dead; Speedy Gonzales quit and went into teaching. Haven't talked to any of them in a while.

I have to plug APR in Hurst....have been nothing but pleased with the rifles they built for me, and their pricing can't be beat, IMO.
