I found a YouTube video on how to build your own duck blind. It cost under $50 and I threw it together in a couple hours. Birds decoyed great and didn't have any flare. It's pretty awkward to carry, but when I'm done I can just roll it up and throw it on my wagon.

Just found that on a search. What did you use to brush it in?

I cut cattails and bundled them up and then just some field grasses to fill the gaps. I wouldn't use cattails if they aren't already on your body of water though. They definitely don't need any help spreading.

Some thick bamboo should work for those posts too.
