I talked to a senior building code official in Frisco a few weeks ago, Gilbert who used to be the Chief Plumbing Inspector here. I asked him what the city was going to do over come the new house bill. He said they were working on a legal way to get around it.

For me I want the extra building codes especially in Frisco, I want builders to have to go above and beyond and spend extra money so Frisco doesn't become ghetto in the future.

It has been about 5 weeks since I spoke with him, I will holler at him this week and see if they got anything figured out. Gilbert is up on all the codes, he used to teach CE for plumbers and also do prep classes for guys wanting to become plumbing inspectors.

Nice. I know Gilbert as well but haven’t asked him about this. I’m in the sales side of the industry. Frisco made a huge mistake with they let all a the houses built over the last 20 years have water heaters installed in the attic....they have recently put a stop to that. Thankfully.

They tried to over rule that years ago, Gilbert was leading the charge but the city council voted to allow them in attics, I suspect the builders had a heavy influence on that.

I have two 50 gallons in my attic of my two story in Frisco, I see them all in Plano as well, and some in Allen.

They suxs changing out
