I was finally able to make it the range with my sons new rifle. It's A Ruger American Predator Go Wild in 7mm08. I mounted a VX-3i 4.5-14x50 Leupold on it. I'm not the best shot, but the Hornady Precision Hunter 150gr ELD-X seems to group good enough at 100yrds. Congrats. That is a nice scope for that weapon as well. You know the rest....practice and enjoy. I looked at this rifle in that caliber and still would like to own one, but it did not happen just yet.

Top three of my favorite cartridges. And, thus far I'm seeing that those rifles will shoot!
