Any shooters who shoot the 28 Nosler.... Have you thought about wanting to try a subsonic in the 28 Nosler? If the barrel has a 1:8.5 twist or faster, I can get a 175 grain Hornady bullet stable and shooting as a subsonic round in the 28. Any interest? (Yes, there is a reason for the question. Yes, I know it's strange....) Just throwing out some ideas here. Maybe a reduce recoil round?

Not sure about demand for sub round. Maybe the guy who only uses one gun might need a reduced load for deer / pig shooting that’s not burning 90 gr of powder and is easier on shoulder and barrel. Seems the 28 Nosler is a 700-1000 round caliber with full power ammo so you could stretch that out and for hunting purposes that a lot of critters. Personally I am not wired that way these days although back in the day I used to play with reduced loads all the time just for the fun of it.

I agree DStroud but how many guys that only have 1 rifle have the 28 Nosler. I doubt there is a market for what Chad is talking about.

Yes, but if you would have told me that 270 Winchester subs or 300 Win Mag subs would sell, I would have said no way. I load a lot of 270 Win subs, and is one of my top sellers.
The good thing about a 28 Nosler sub is these rifles generally have a faster twist barrel to shoot the heavier bullets. This would work well as a sub. But, the case capacity may be an issue also. I haven't tried these yet, but am thinking about it though.

I will say it shocks me that you sell 270 and 300 mag subs in any quantity. I would think anyone with a 28 nosler has the means for or already has much better options for subs, but apparently and not for the first or last time im wrong LOL.
Reduced loads are neat, I have found good uses for them while trying to accommodate beginner shooters and children.

Subs out of a 28 nosler? No no no no... That is like Dolly Parton without the knockers.
