 Hot water in shower

I have 2 showers in the house. The bathrooms are next to each other with only a wall separating them, one is a guest, other is our master. We get hot water in every part of the house including guest bathroom/shower and master sinks. Now we are not getting hot water to master shower. What could be causing this?

How old is the unit?
Mixing valve is stuck and I think they default to not hot for safety.

Did this happen all of a sudden?
Replace the shower cartridge is where I’d start.
