Anyone lease in Jack co.? We’ve had lots of does and lots of pigs but only one buck on camera the last 3 months to this day. Granted it’s a smaller 180 acre place, but still never seen so few bucks in such a large amount of time. Neighbors a 2600 acre place. What’re y’all seeing?

I am not in Jack county, but I was only seeing a couple of does & a few fawns from April through September at the new place. I was getting discouraged about this season and thinking the property wasn't any good. I pulled the cards today and I had bucks all over the place with a couple shooters.

Just remember that patterns will change once the the rut gets going and trail cameras only show you a small area.

I have a place around 10 miles south of Jack County and I have several bruisers on game cam but then the hogs took over!

I just got back from Jack County a few hours ago. Our place is about 10 miles due N of Jacksboro and the Oaks are loaded with acorns. IMO, it could be tough the next several weeks. The deer are in very good shape.

My place is south of Jacksboro by Barton Chapel, I also was seeing a few does and certainly more hogs. I just recently hired a hog trapper and just finished my 3rd feeder pen, which I call Hog Repellent Pens. My deer traffic is noticeably up (more bucks and does) hog traffic almost nonexistent and like smitty said, tons of acorns and the deer look good. I have the trap for another month and hoping more deer find my place.

Im in Montague County South of Bowie. Deer have been hitting corn but as the acorns drop, I expect that to end

I'm on the Jack/Montague border by Amon Carter lake and we've got some decent bucks on camera. They are also in very good shape this year. [Linked Image]

My place is 18 miles north of Jacksboro. Bucks are already chasing. Saw a really nice 10pt at a feeder 2 weeks ago. The oaks are loaded with acorns, but we still have a lot of deer coming to corn.
Headed that way in a few minutes.
