I guess if there's a famine, Texans will be the last survivors. Nope. Lack of insulin and they dead in 3 days or less. Just the south is so freaking fat. If you see a fattier in the northwest then they're tourists.

It's because it's too d.... hot to do anything outside!
I have gained 30lbs living in Texas for 7 years....In Colorado and Montana, I hiked and hunted by walking the hills and rode dirt bikes every chance I got and hiked to the fishing lakes, belly boated the lakes and rivers kicking around all day fishing. If you do that here you will die, so we go out to eat or fire up the pit to make use of our extra time.

Being overweight is a sign of success, you gotta have enough money to buy that much food. You can't even buy a decent steak anywhere on the west coast for less than a Benjamin. They know nothing about Q, smoked or grilled red meat, proper use of tortilla's, cobbler. Hard to get fat eating rabbit food & bird seed. Didja notice the cost of living, price of fuel, a house, an acre etc.. can't afford to eat well.

Taxes and insurance is a lot cheaper. And no state income tax. Tx ain't no deal anymore.and we are a ferry ride away from Seattle. I ain't into diversity like tx has become

They are not fat there mainly because of the meth thing. I lived in Washington State for over 6 months,. I was in Spokane. It was horrible. Really the western part of Washington State is quite conservative.

It's calories more than exercise but a little of both. It takes about 3,000 calories for a 200 pound man to maintain weight. I'm not making this up. Look it up.

Yep, i lived in Vancouver,WA for almost 2 years. Strange people, but I couldnt care less. Excellent hunting, fishing, skiing and golfing. Amazing scenery. Even better food. I enjoyed it.
