As for BAD... I'm surprised no one has mentioned Thomas Perry's Butcher's Boy series. One of my favorites.

BTW: If you have read Lee Childs, it should make you angry that they picked Tom Cruise to play Reacher in the movies! realmad

I’m a big fan of Thomas Perry, but are there any new books?

Reading Cold Mountain now. Finished a couple James Rollins Sigma books recently that weren’t particularly great. Also finished the gunslinger the other day, first of the dark tower series.

I haven't read these but these look like Perry's latest.

I remembered this book as one of the top five that I had ever read but I had forgotten it was by Robert Crais . It catches you from the prolog and won't let you go.
