Well, if you guys want BAD, look for Tom Wood’s novels about an assassin named Victor. Those are truly worth a read. I can’t wait for the next one. Sort of an anti-hero that you grow to like.
Also, Orphan X novels are top notch. As for BAD... I'm surprised no one has mentioned Thomas Perry's Butcher's Boy series. One of my favorites. BTW: If you have read Lee Childs, it should make you angry that they picked Tom Cruise to play Reacher in the movies!

Reading Cold Mountain now. Finished a couple James Rollins Sigma books recently that weren’t particularly great. Also finished the gunslinger the other day, first of the dark tower series.

I remembered this book as one of the top five that I had ever read but I had forgotten it was by Robert Crais . It catches you from the prolog and won't let you go. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15755201-suspect
