I watched it and thought it was really good. I remember the accident happening but never really looked into the details of what happened. After watching this and seeing exactly what happened I was like HOLY CRAP.

Mini series and fairly accurate from what l have read....Which on that note is rather disturbing I was stationed in Germany when that and the Mad Cow crap was going on....I used to give blood 2-3 times a year....I'm now on permanent ban list for life because of it.... Never heard of the documentary....

The Firemen, the divers, the miners absolute heros.
I went to Haz-Mat Tech two week class in 2010. The instructor said that year, you can tour Chernobyl but must stay on pavement. The radiation was still too high to stand on the earth.

The scene where they took readings of the firemen clothes today, that were stripped off of them after they realized the clothes were contaminated, was surreal. I can't remember if that was actual footage
