Shooting Range Mocks WalmartTEXAS – A shooting range is mocking Walmarts position on banning ammo ban by offering bullets by the pound.
The pro gun store located in Fort Worth Texas started making a ammo bar at the begining of September.

Love alpine range. the new owners are fantastic. My BIL was dubious about a public range, but they changed his mind.

No bargains there, at least on .308... I just weighed a box of Core-Lokt's on a postal scale and it was 1.2lbs, so $24 a box for what looks like FMJ? I'd drive somewhere else. It is a good gimmick on their side to change the pricing metric though.

It shows how much compassion they have for the victims of the mass shootings. so, compassion should entail infringing on our rights even though it is a request and not a hard policy? you realize too that now there are a number of national chains asking people not to open carry as well? while I don't care that much since I won't carry openly it is still bending to the left and a bad policy, to not sell ammo is even more moronic.

Love alpine range. the new owners are fantastic. My BIL was dubious about a public range, but they changed his mind. They must’ve made some massive changes in the last year or so. I’ve been there 10+ times and always considered it to be the worst gun range around.

I gave up on Alpine and I don't think I've been there in two years. Who bought it and how have things changed? I used to shoot sporting clays and skeet there, but it got to where their machines never worked. Their once decent prices on reloading supplies got way out of line.

They were selling loose ammo before the shootings. I had to buy some 223 because what I brought out was FMJ. There's was pretty good shooting ammo too. The range attitude has greatly improved too..
