I haven’t seen even one at my place South of Bowie or at home inHurst. Why? We had good rains and standing water at both places. Never seen this.

We normally can't sit outside past dusk this time of year. We have a few but not the typical inundation we have. Now if could just get the horse flies on board.

Late spring we had plenty, bought 4 of these Spartan Mosquito Eradicators and soon noticed a lot less and now hardly any of them Bastages, I think it is a combo of no rain and these traps.

Noticeably fewer around Grapevine this year too. Maybe more spraying done early in the rainy season.

We started using these too and there is a noticeable decline in skeeters.

I'm not making this up. You always have the saltwater mosquitoes. Back in the day I was camping out with a group at SLP. We had carried out some of our supplies in a washtub. I had a hammer in my hand when a swarm attacked. I crawled under the washtub. The mosquitoes started punching their beaks through the tub. I flattened the beaks with the hammer which caused them to be braded to the tub. Finally the mosquitoes all started flying together and flew off with the washtub.

If you are missing them come out for a day. I’ll share all you can handle. Evenings they will just about carry you away.

No Chiggers this year for me, and the mosquitos are not there either.

Had a lot of flies in early summer, but they are gone now.

Agree and even with standing water, seem way down. I was getting a few last week in Montague after dark but only when sitting stiill and late. They didn't come out though till after 10 pm for me which was weird. Before that no issue but they still seem way down. Few weeks before sat in stand until 9:30 and nothing. Hardly any at house in Dallas compared to previous years and we have a lot of standing water.
