I don't know but from the look of its hip and ribs it's skinny and sick, something is pulling it down.

Cutaneous fibromas. Harmless. +1 Ugly as heck and can get pretty bad but they seem to still live normally. Used to see stuff like that on the dairy cows but it was usually fly larva. Turns my stomach thinking about it!

Wonder if it would taste bad ground up with the rest of the meat. Papa always told me not to waste anything.

Only saw that one time, years ago, the TP&W biologist said it was cutaneous fibromas, but an easier name he called them warts. Strictly a virus on the skin. Removed when processed, not harmful.

That still don't explain why it's skinny though, could the 2 be related?

She ain't going in my freezer... I’ll agree with that... Even if it’s only skin deep and came off when skinned. I couldn’t bring myself to eat that deer.

Cutaneous fibromas. Harmless. This and it does not effect the meat. My guess is that is a very old doe that is raising one or two fawns this year. There is a fawn moving out of the frame on this pic. She good doe that is put everything she is taking as she can in into milk production for the fawns.
