I'm not making this up. I just saw an umpire spit in the baseline at Yankee Stadium. I only spit at home after I brush my teeth. I don't know how to make a poll. Gross? Let nature take its course? Ever carry a spit can?

Grew up playing baseball and i still spit all the time, don’t know why. I made it 20 years without ever picking up snuff too, guess I just wanted to look cool

Used to chew on cigars but never lit em so yep I spit quite a bit....but all my time was spent outdoors so no issues

My wife can't stand to watch Jose Altuve because he spits so much. I have to admit that it's a pretty disgusting habit.

The only time I ever heard “Gleet,” was from my cousin in Slaton. Everyone in Slaton could do it. I couldn’t. We weren’t that refined in Odessa. He’s now an ENT surgeon in Lewisville. Guess I should have learned how to gleet.
