Gonna be a big game for both programs. When I look at both teams they are pretty similar in a lot of ways.
I see it being a close, and physical game. Maybe 27-24 LSU. I think the Defense is too young, and will have some blown coverage from time to time. This can be countered, if Texas wins the turnover margin by two. I just hope it's a good game, and can't wait to watch it.

Only way Texas wins is if it's a fluke game where things just go their way all night.
Texas is way too young on D. LSU should score a lot of points.
LSU should win but you never know. That's why they play the game.

I'd go with LSU but would be pretty surprised if it's not a little closer than what SRO predicted, maybe 30-24

27-17 LSU. All the injuries at RB are going to hurt the Horns this week. Saw Texas had to move their true freshman QB, Roschon Johnson, to emergency RB3 for this week.

It’s at home. Both teams have injuries and depth issues at certain positions.
Qb position isn’t close, Ehlinger much better.

If y’all win, don’t rush the field like you won the Super Bowl.
If you lose, finish strong and be a 1 loss team.
Clemson lined up in the NC and beat Alabama every way possible.
Alabama wasn’t really challenged all year and weren’t held accountable for mistakes.

TEXAS does not rush the field! Who do you think we are........tech? Yep, I picked Texas to lose this game before the season started because of the defense being so young, but I think they gel, and Texas starts to roll. Not to worried about the RB position, I just hope the dont put the load on Sam. The backup running back has some pop, and at least their best running back is still healthy.....knocking on wood as we speak. They moved a linebacker to third string RB!

I've had a change of heart. I'm going 34-17 Texas! I think Lsu is over confident, and they are too high on their new offense. TO will have a lot of looks to keep their QB thinking. Texas will out coach LSu.

Think LSU wins 27-17 Texas D still has a way to go.Sam is a concussion waiting to happed. He runs like a running back and if he goes down Texas can kiss their season goodbuy.

Texas will dismantle LSU just like they did Georgia. For once Texas looks physical and looks like they have men out there playing instead of boys! I will say that LSU may actually have an offense now. If so that could be scary for the rest of the SEC

LSU is absolutely loaded.... Easy money on covering spread 38-17 LSU Only way LSU loses any games this year is if they beat themselves with turnovers

God help us if the Bayou Bengals become Texas State Division I Champions. Those folks in Baton Rouge know where the best high school talent plays their games.
