I picked a 96 Chevy z71 for hunting and have Been trying to figure out blinkers n flashers. When I turn on the key they work for 5-6 flashes and then stop and won’t work again unless I turn the key off and back on. I replaced the flasher relay under the dash as well as the tail light assemblies. Any idea what else it could be before I venture into replacing the whole multifunction switch? I’ll also add that everything else on the switch works as well as brake lights and all running lights.

Update: I replaced the flasher relay under the dash and all blinkers work, however when I was driving it around the relay began making a weird buzzing noise. Guess Im going to have to dive into the wiring at some point. I will check the trailer wirng and see if the buzzing continues.
It will work for a lease rig, but wouldnt mind being able to drive it on the road to check cows or run to the store.
