wear a bib while eating messy food? Was at Red Lobster and noticed a guy with a napkin bib, I thought, "what a dork" then looked down after I ate the crab feast and had butter on my shirt. Maybe I need to start wearing a bib too. Do you ever?
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

There is a reason seafood places provide bibs. It’s a common issue.

I wear a bid when eating crab. This! There's an AYCE crab place in Florida where we go with the in-laws. They have garlic butter crabs and they are amazing. With all the hammering on crabs and butter, you will ruin a shirt or shorts if you get that butter on the clothes. So, yes, I wear a bib!

The older we get sometimes just regular food misses the mouth. Always hold the plate close.

When I eat messy, dripping, oozing chili dogs - I just eat over the sink. Eating out and crab...not worth the trouble so no bib necessary.

No, but I should have last night... Had a hamburger with an egg on it, and it was MESSY. Told the bartender this is not something you would want to eat on a first date.
