Buddy hunts near Rule close to the Brazos, very nice bucks and numbers.

Hunted North of Merkel for a few years the deer numbers were not very high but there were some nice ones. If your place has Shinnery Oak it will produce some good bucks!
Not sure if its still open but TIn Cup Country Club in Merkel had great burgers and cold beer and stayed open late for hunters. Had many good times there!

Hunting can always be sight specific but it can potentially be real good. I love that part of the world.
At some point in life its time to quit chasing the pot of gold and just enjoy the rainbow. FR Keep your gratitude higher than your expectations. RWH

That's a big stretch of country from Merkel to Haskel but there are some prime area's.
