So let's consider this scenario. I want to know about deer hunting an area, so I'm going to post in the hunting vehicles section asking for information. then after a few hours, I'm going to go to the TFF OT and whine about how everyone on the THF is worthless because I wasn't smart enough to post in the correct place. Yes, I defend both these forums. I'm blessed to have them and have met many great people on them. folks that would give you the shirt of your back. I've seed it too many times. unfortunately there are a few jerks too. You sir, are one of them. Good day.
Listen douchebag. I’ve been on that forum since 2006. I happen to have had the same experience multiple times, regardless of the forum. The main thread I’m talking about isn’t even a bass question. Maybe consider you don’t have the full story before spouting off. Crazy idea I know. Btw, your theory doesn’t hold much water when I can come to the hunting forum and post in the off topic and get better answers in 2 hours than I can over there. To be fair, you aren’t giving the whole story, and at least two of us are curious. Edit: is this a kayak tournament or will you be fishing out of a motor boat?

3” motor oil / metal flake curly tailed grub on a 1/8 or 1/4 ounce should be good.

I prefer to catch one, cut it open and see what it's eating then match that.
Yeah, I get around.

So you are saying that you are often a potlicker. There is plenty of info shared, just not where the world can see. It's also shared between people who can actually catch them, if you are useless and can never help anyone with decent stuff and have zero credibility nobody will help you with anything. Just my 2 cents.

A few buddies of mine are having a mini tourney out there in a few weeks and I don’t bass fish. Since the TFF is worthless for information does anyone here have any tips on what works out there? This guy is a retired guide that would even spend some time on the brazos. Some of his trips were documented on TFF a few years back but I can’t find the posts. It would be worth shooting him a PM. https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/users/2456

It’s good for jack wagon answers and for some people to feel cool. The crappie section is helpful you are no longer on my imaginary christmas list.

If you paddle a ways I’ve had good luck in the timber towards the main lake. There are some good cat tails as well. PopR at first light then wat red baby brush hog and wacky rigged senko.
