When I get a little work done on my Kubota, I think I’ll get new tires. The present ones came on it, and have a road tread, but are well worn and a bit slick. Useless in mud. I don’t want a super aggressive tread, but something a bit more useful in mud than what I have but still smooth on the road. Any of you Kubota or Mule guys have tires/treads that you like a lot?

25" surefoot Essex tires is what I put on my first RTV and swapped them out with the tires that were on my current RTV. I've been running the same set for about 7-8 years and they show minimal wear. They are pretty agressive but tough as nails without ever having to patch or plug even running thru cactus and mesquites. Back when I first switched to these, it was about the same price to buy already mounted on steel wheels as it was to have mounted on my then current wheels and one of my old wheels was bent pretty bad ... so I just bought the wheel/tire kits and slapped them on. They work really good in every type of soil / rock I have put them thru. Essex Surefoot tire kits

If you can find Dunlop or Duro tires they are good, have the same 4 on the Mule since 2010 at least, a little wear, no cracks.pretty much drive about 3/4 of a mile every day or 2.

Biggest issue is load range, most tires are rated for less than empty weight of the RTV (1900lbs), muchness 2 people and and a dozen bags of feed or more. I went with these OTR Tomahawks. I like them. Less than $400 a set.

I just buy the replacement ATV style wheel/tire from Coleman Equipment. I think it's around $120 per wheel and that gives me both the tire and the rim. They aren't too bad on the road, but it's definitely not street tire smoothness.
Thanks, Rich

$319 shipped from Amazon was the best deal i found. Coleman deal not bad for the stock tires and wheels, I wanted a bit more grip. This thing climbs like crazy in 2wd now.

Just saw this thread, but here's what I have on my '05 RTV 900. These were already installed on the Beast when I bought, along with a lift kit since they are 27". They've been great for me. I seldom ever have to use 4WD even running in some of that pretty bad West Texas "grease".

Belief mine - Deestones are awesome. I use them on my hunting truck and have never been left in the pasture with a flat.
i hope that's a photo of one of the rear tires.

The tires I got look much like what cajunrotor has. Already got a thorn in one. Slimed it, and all is well.

They do. But if that was a pic of the front to the left side of the pic, the tire would be rotating backward from the manufacturer recommended installation.

When my tires got installed, I noticed that the tire guys took chalk and marked proper tire rotation direction on each tire prior to installation.
