Who here has a handle on using any sort of NV on a crossbow?

Given the recoil moments of rimfires, centerfires, big bores, shotguns, spring or PCP air rifles vary so widely, where in this range does a crossbow fit?

And whose NV system can function best?

I've never given this a thought but I like it. I might have to give this a try this fall/winter for hogs!

Thanks for the idea!

Distance is not an issue, but the wind can make it interesting!

I've got a lot of customers who've put their Sightmark Photon RT's on crossbows. The biggest problem people run into is that most of these digital NV scopes are 3x to 5x base magnification which is a LOT at 20-50 yards for crossbow hunting. Everyone seems to find a way to deal with it but a low magnification thermal like the Pulsar Core RXQ30V at 1.6x seems like a perfect crossbow scope.
