I like to cut the bread instead of tearing. mine were done exactly 45minute, ovens vary, 1 or 2 minutes won't make that much different, and use any seasonal fruit, hope you enjoy as much as we did, new item for Christmas menu or any time

sorry, I was in the wrong seat, senior moment hope you all like it as much as we did, new menu item for Christmas, oh helx, anytime p.s. I like to cut the bread instead of tearing and I think Wal-Mart French bread is better than HEB, my .02

Get a packages of day old cinnamon rolls at a bakery outlet and use that instead of the bread. Or save left over donuts, cinnamon rolls etc. and freeze until you have enough. Then substitute them for the bread. They make KILLER bread puddings.

yes sir, have done that, I like the cake donuts, cut them into pcs and let dry a bit, yum, saw that on a cooking show a few years ago, never done the cinnamon rolls they seem to disappear
