For anyone interested, here is a quick update on the snakebit doe from June... Just got a good clear picture of her again a few days ago, and she looks great! You can spot the scarring if you are looking for it, and I am convinced it is her, but the scarring is really minimal and she looks to be doing quite well. Havent seen her with a fawn, but hopefully she has one off in the brush somewhere!

Here is a quick series of pics starting with the first up through the latest. Dates are correct on the pics. She definitely shook off the snakebite a lot quicker and more completely than I would have expected
