Guy died and there was no one to feed the dogs so they made a meal of him. It's not like humans haven't done the same thing, look up the Donner Party.

I've found a few dead people with their dogs starved to death laying right next to them. Cats however will start snacking on people pretty quickly. I wonder how many of these dogs were primarily pitbull mixed breed?

Good lord! Enough with the pit bull bull. "When authorities seized the dogs, two of the 18 had been killed by the other dogs." "The sheriff's office stated that 13 of the remaining 16 had to be euthanized because of their "aggressive" nature." Sounds like labradors and golden retrievers, no way pitbulls would do such a thing.

I wouldnt really mind if my dogs ate my remains. Especially if that meant survival for them. Saves somebody else a lot of trouble and expense too.
