Someone should take a ball from a few years ago and one from the home run derby and run some tests. Then you would know for sure if changes have been made.

It’s pretty obvious if you look at the numbers of homeruns overall compared to other years. The kicker is they switched the ball in AAA to the major league ball from last year and this year and HR are up almost 50% so yes it’s the ball. All other levels of pro ball are using the old ball and numbers are the same.

I don't any issues here if the ball "juiced" as long as the entire league is using identical baseballs. I would rather see a few more home runs then have to sit though long, low scoring games.

I think the issue is that home runs are not balls in play. I think people think to make the game more exciting more plays should be made. Meaning balls that can have a play made on it but today’s game is strike out or home run. They are on pace for 500 more home runs than the record that’s ridiculous.
