Saw one on the road and they are darn silly looking. Having said that, I am not overly happy with my wife’s Jeep Wrangler, been one problem over the next. Everyone that I know has had a Jeep and done any actual off roaring with it has had thing break constantly. They are made to drive on the road and not do any work. Looker kind of car only.
Extending the chassis and putting weight in that bed would give the vehicle one issue after another.

Waiting on Janie’s post on this. Know she used to have an older Jeep Honcho Or two, I’m pretty sure.

Did they put the under powered V6 in those as well?

Actually not a bad looking vehicle. I like the old school white spoke wheels. I had some myself back in the day.

Did they put the under powered V6 in those as well? 285hp V6 with 4.10 gears on the max tow. Same engine they have been putting in Wranglers since 2012.

Is that a Gladiator or just a Wrangler with a special top?

If it mean't I didn't have to climb under it, and constantly turn wrenches, I'd be all over it like flies on poo! It is sharp. Still like the looks of the J trucks tho. Here's my 79 that I sold a few years ago. It now resides in Belgium.

I’m a Jeep guy and I really like the Gladiator. That said... No way in heck I would buy a first year run of any vehicle. On top of that some dealerships are placing a 5K to 15K fee on top of sticker. Nope Nope Nope

I really like mine. First I had a 2005 LJ Unlimited for a nearly two years. It was sluggish and seemed dangerous for a roll over. Now I've got a 2018, the last JK in 4-door and really like it. If it got totaled tomorrow there are still some left over 2018 JKs scattered around the country. I think I would be on a plane going after one, unless that wreck I mentioned hurt me too bad. No new JL for me. I would wait a few years on it like mentioned above. If no JKs available then its a 4-Runner.

When are they going to quit playing around and slap a 5.7 in one? They can't get around the crash test results with the hemi under the hood. Something about the physical size of the motor, coupled with the existing crumple zones, that it won't pass. Yes, it will fit, and yes, they have done it on nonproduction vehicles, but no, we can't buy one, because government.
