Getting set up for our first annual company fish fry
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

I had a fried fish burrito the other day, it was a piece of fresh fried fish, tarter sauce, some lettuce and wrapped in a flour tortilla. Outstanding.

Sorry no more pics, I got busy and man it was Hot! We ate inside. 14 people and I cooked about 70 crappie fillets plus we had 2 lbs of boiled shrimp. We caught the crappie 2 weeks ago, Sherwin Williams took me and two co workers on a guide trip and paid for all the fixins for the fish fry. All I had to do is cook it. It was hot but still better than sitting at my desk.

Where did you catch the crappie? Cedar Creek? Yes sir. With guide Lane Palmer. I believe it was 42 keepers on our half day trip.

Fresh caught Sand bass are pretty good. Once, frozen, it loses its magic.

Fresh caught Sand bass are pretty good. Once, frozen, it loses its magic. A lot of it depends on the water they are caught from as well. I caught a ton of Sandbass in the creeks this year with all the flooding we had. The ones that came from the creeks have a muddy taste and the ones I have been cooking from the lake are much cleaner tasting. Little fresh squeezed lemon and some Old Bay makes it all good though.

Sounds like a great time fishing with Lane and cooking and sharing fish with your coworkers.
