My vote would go for pecan trees. They start in the spring dropping tassels, next the little bitty trees come up in my flower beds, had a little thunderstorm that dropped limbs that took me a hour to pick up, and occasional big limbs that cost to get cleaned up. What gets your vote?

Have a sweet gum tree in front yard. Every fall it drops the marble size spinny seeds. Makes a mess. Next would be the cotton woods in the pasture, couple are 4’+ around. Lots of snow off them in the springtime. bang

Funny thing, I didn't know that pine trees produced pine nuts until I was in my 30's. I was quail hunting with a dairy farmer in Lousiana. We pointed a covey in some piney woods. He showed me the pine nuts in a quail crop.

Nasty pine trees. Needles and cones clog the gutters kill the grass and invite bark beetle infestation. Can’t even use it for fire wood.

Cedar elms are pretty nasty around my house. Drop leaves most of the year, clog the gutters. Lots of sap certain times of the year. Cedars come in second. One step under a pine tree.

Hackberry
I had one over the driveway that made the wife's car and driveway sticky. It was impossible to keep the goo off her car. On day I was standing in the driveway talking with a neighbor and my shoes stuck to the driveway, I had to give it an effort to pull them loose.
I trimmed it back to about 2" below the ground. All is good.

Hackberry, then Chinaberry. Nasty things. Back neighbor is letting Chinaberry take over the little area (that's theirs) between our back fence and their closest paddock. Horse people - all that matters is the horses...all the time. bang

We have a bald cypress that drops little round cones every year and I hate it. They are full of sap and stain your clothes and carpet because they break all apart and stick to your shoes.

My buddy would say it’s the cottonwood tree. He has huge ones right next to his pool. When they start dropping their seeds and it looks like it’s snowing, his pool acts like a magnet and the filter is constantly dirty.

Agree with sweet gum tree pointed balls.

I don’t care for Bradford pears either...they smell like throw up to me.

China Berry is at the top of my list, followed by the Sweetgum. Sweetgums are very pretty in the fall but those dang balls make them a pain in the arse.

Fruit bearing mulberry trees. First you have the tassels drop in the spring creating a mess. Then when the fruit ripens, if you do not clean it up fast enough you will have a gadzillion flies invading your space along with a few bazillion other bugs and bees. Everything also turns purple, your hands turn purple, the bottoms of your shoes turn purple, every place you walk turns purple.

Yep mulberries for sure. Also Chinese stink tree(ailanthus),basically a big weed. And crepe myrtles, they drop a pollen that is tiny droplets of sticky honeydew that will eat the paint off a car.

Gotta be East Texas Pine trees. They "self prune" any time the wind blows more than 10mph, mine drop 50 gallon bags of pine cones any itme it rains even a light mist yadda yadda and not the same tree I lived under in Jax Florida that has a tap root and does not flop over in a wet wind.

The 160'er I lost, along with 5 others that fell in April was over 100 years old and the root ball burst ground level 24 hours AFTER the mini 'nader had passed. Just Sayin' 1st and Last time I'll live with 'em. Lost 6 of them in that April storm and got 7 more to get rid of outta the back yard and 2 more at front curbside almost that tall...with the both the neigbors at curbside shedding thigh sized limbs anytime it rains.....makes a memorable sound when a thigh sized tree limb hits the ground from 150'+ high. My 160'er was taller than 4 1/2 feet across at the cut when the tree guy cut the trunk off the root ball at the flare..and 5 neighbors came running at dinner time to see what had fallen in my back yard the crack sound was so loud. Pine trees ...ughhhhh

Willow Trees are the worse. They are self-pruning. Always picking up limbs. Plus, they rot in the middle and split.

I do my part to eradicate Honey Locust on my place. I never thiught I'd hate a tree like I hate hogs, but I do.

They don't drop trash, but they'll make for a bleeding body, and flat tires.

In my yard the Pecan trees are a major pain in the arse, constantly losing limbs. As a matter of fact, we just had a little weather event come through & I see a brand new batch of limbs that I need to gather up bang. Not a big fan of Hackberries either, they grow fast & then immediately fall over, usually on my driveway
