Let’s stop being negative.

What’s the best place you have been to?

My favorite city so far has been Boston. Fenway park was great, people were wonderful and a lot of history there.

Favorite small town is Cooperstown NY

Favorite rural place has been Alpine AZ

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Interesting you mentioned Alpine,Az
I have been there twice, and really like it.
In the middle if nowhere.
We are seriously thinking about retiring in AZ.
I have travelled all states 2-3 times over 30 yrs, and AZ and Utah are top 2 on my list to retire.
Montana third, but cold.
We might retire here in Texas and just travel to AZ all the time, for tax reasons that is.
We can stay at 3 friends houses all over AZ and they can stay here in return.
Or, we might sell the house and downsize to AZ
In AZ, without kids, all you need is 1-2 acres and 1600-1900 sqf max, as you live outdoors most of the time.

120 acres, Alpine,Az, $1,800,000

bang

Colorado Springs and Ruidoso. But would also like to add in some of the desert areas like around Tularosa or . Something about that High Desert area of New Mexico that draws both me and the wife to them.

My favorite city is, by far, Ft. Worth.

I don’t know that I have a favorite town. Albany ranks up there. I wasn’t in Ft. Davis long, but everyone I passed waved, even if they were busy. That left an impression. My favorite town is in Texas, anyway.

I always enjoyed San Angelo. That’s also where I’ll retire.

If i win the Powerball tonite, i would build a small 2000 sqf house on the beach in Maui for 4 months,
Small house 2000 sqf in Carefree of Cave creek AZ for 4 months and travel (skiing, bird hunting and golfing all over the World for the other 4 months. During my travels, i would also gang rape people at the poker table, bluffing like a motha.

Savannah, GA is a pretty cool town. And Charleston, SC - the food in that city is amazing.

If I didn’t have to worry about making money I would move to Arizona. Love that state.

Flagstaff housing got expensive.
