About 7:30 this morning while I was reading this thread in my La-Z-Boy,
Faithful Spunky started barking from her overwatch stuffed chair by the picture window.

240 yards from my picnic table per Mapulator app with the 220 Swift my wife inherited from her great aunt.



You guys are killing it. I reckon this one makes the total 105.
I just joined this forum. Can coyotes killed by me earlier this year be included in the count?

Real Texans drink Shiner beer, brewed in Texas for Texans. My favorite is Wicked Ram.

These coyotes were killed in Houston County by me in 2019.

May 24: 270 yards, 220 Swift, 55 grain VMAX Varmint Express in a Winchester Model 70.



July 30: Spunky and 330 yard coyote by 220 Swift.



August 9: Spunky and 200 yard coyote by 220 Swift.



September 12: 250 yard coyote shot with Ruger American Compact in 243, 95 grain Hornady SST.
This young coyote was in among the cows but they did not seem to be concerned.
After I shot her, one cow went over and checked her out.



September 28: This is probably my longest, confirmed, one-shot kill. 420 yards according to the Mapulator app.
She was facing to my left and the .243 ricocheted off the back of her skull and splashed in the dirt to the right.
Her ribs were the intended target, but I'll take it.



There were a couple of other coyotes that were shoot and release.
(In other words, they got away and I couldn't find the bodies. Can't count them.)

So, that is five more coyotes and brings the count to 110.

Killed one stalking my neighbors cows and calves this afternoon at about 200 yards with a .243.
No picture because I didn't want to go on my neighbor's land but I texted him to ease his mind
if he saw buzzards. He texted thanks.

It would have only been about 200 yards if Spunky hadn't started chasing her.
She spotted the song dog but give me a break, Spunky.

This morning I killed the coyote in the previous post
and this afternoon an American Bald Eagle was eating it.
This is the first time I have seen an Eagle on my property in Houston County.

The picture was taken with my iPhone through my spotting scope
at a range of almost 400 yards.

Both my hunting buddy and I dropped a yote each from our blinds last week. So here is 2 more for the count.
