North Texas Tanning does not do hair off leather tanning. I am looking to get some leather made and get some gloves and other stuff done. Can anyone suggest a tannery? NTT suggested someone in Minnesota, but if possible, I would like to stay local. Suggestions??? I really don't have the time or space to do it myself.

Great idea. I'd go with Huftax's recommendation. I am still using some deer hides for stuff that my dad had done well before I was born. I'm 58. I'm pretty sure he shipped the hides up north. 'Think it was Minnesota, but Iowa's "up north" too to me.
