Atlantis. It's awesome...restaurants are great and there's a ton of them. Casino is very, very nice and big if you like to gamble.
I've been to several vacation spots in the Carribean and Atlantis is the nicest place we've been and there is a lot to do. If you want low-key relaxing then Turks is a good one.
Pass on Jamaica.
St. Lucia is nice too with quite a few outdoor activities, but a longer flight.

Bahamas was great. Very Americanized. We stayed at an adult only all inclusive next door to the Atlantis.

There are so many destinations in the Caribbean that are great for different things. Are you wanting to sit on the beach, fish, hike, 5 star restaurants, off the grid bungalow, etc etc. Each island is different. What are you looking for?

St. Lucia
Did 7 nights there in February. Rented a VRBO on Marigot Bay, had a small SUV dropped off and drove all over the island to different beaches. Sailed one day on a small boat with two other couples to a few spots and snorkeled. Fantastic time. Quiet, laid back, you can speak the language, eat the food and not get hassled to buy jewelry and time shares every five minutes. PM me for a few details if you want.
An unethical shot is one you take, that you know you shouldn't.

Will probably take a 10 year old Hard to beat Playa del Carmen and further down the coast. Easy to get to and value priced. Lots of package deals. Belize is also nice. You will pay more. Go to like AA Vacations and check out some packages. Caiman Islands as well. Don’t forget about like Florida or South Padre and a vacation rental.
To be determined

We are headed to Nassau on Saturday. Family of 4, got flights for $1,000 and staying in a time share exchange. On the beach, close to everything. Lots of options for day trips, fishing, snorkeling, casinos and a lot of fruity umbrella drinks

Hands down...no question...
Roatan, Honduras.... No...not the mainland. The island 30 miles off shore. Have been there several times. Spent ten days there last summer. I can point you in the right direct for lodging, diving, food, local rum...
We are seeing if we can squeeze in a trip this summer also.

Puerto Rico, take a long a circular saw and hammer, they are still recovering from the last hurricane. The Boss and I are going in October. But we are staying with her parents and sister. They keep saying I'm going to have a good time, but I'm still not convinced. The Boss asked why the bad attitude and I told her the last time I was there 24 years ago, I got married. And that's how the fight started.

Grand Cayman is it just you and the bride I’m a big Cayman supporter. But no all inclusive. You could stay at Westin and eat at the beach bar, it’s awesome. And pay 12 bucks a drink from pool bar. Great restaurant right across street.

airfare kills these trips If you don’t have a Southwest Card. I like them for airline points. They have a promo right now, spend 2k in 3 months and get 60k points. Just looked it up if you wanted to go to Nassau Bahamas let’s say in October it would run 65k points for 3 if you.

I just got back from Jamaica 2 days ago and will not go back. That’s the most common thing I hear about Jamaica.
