And updated by Horizon with new barrel and a few scars mended with new coat of paint.

Nice.

I really want a rifle in this caliber. I loved my old 22-250 but the caliber itself had some sort comings. 22cm seems like the perfect answer.

I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

Got 12 rounds down range before the floods hit. Trying N165 for first time in this round. Loaded 4 round ladder in new Peterson brass because I had 4 primed in tray.
Sized down all my empties made from Lapua 6.5 Brass( 7th Reload) so did a 5 round adding .2 gr to top end. I was just guessing where to start my minimum charge based off differences between it and R26 while using it in 6.5SAUM.

Normally I do these type ladders at the range in Axtell so I can get out to 334 yards to a backer that holds paper targets but it’s way to muddy there to try that so just went to Waco range and shot 100 yards.
Shot one round after bore sighting using old ammo but Labradar didn't pick up. Made scope and Chrono adjustments fired all 4 new brass ladder.
Made another scope adjustment after moving Zero stop down to allow more room downward. Fired all 5 rd’s into a pretty decent group considering wide charge spread.

Really wanted to know how much speed I had lost going 3 inches shorter on barrel so since my first round didn’t register with old ammo I fired at the top left bull and hit center but I guess I had bumped the Labradar off a little checking back thru speeds and no velocity again. So fired another round and it went thru same hole and speed was 3260fps so dropped right at 200 fps.
N165 seems to shoot well but not sure speed will match R26
