Statistically, if they have no brow tines at 3.5 I would cull them. However, there are always exceptions to the rule. This guy had no brown tines at 2.5 and tiny bumps at 3.5. I killed him at 4.5 and he scored 164. He still didn't have much for brown tines but he was a heck of a buck (my personal best). We have a lot of bucks without brow tines in Dimmit County. I have probably taken 15 of them in the last 15 years. Cull them at 2.5 sometimes.
