You have a hog come in, and within 30 seconds of it walking out you see a coyote a different direction. Which shot do you take? Time of year doesn’t matter, No suppressor!

I would kill the pig and use it for bait then come back and shoot more than one yote over the dead pig.

Dog first. But, we have dogs, no hogs (yet) and dogs don't mix with livestock. Ask me again in 20 years.

Pig for sure. Pigs destroy land. Coyotes keep varmints in check. If I saw both in the same sitting, within second of each other, I would be thinking I had problems with both though and would try to hit both. But in my neck of the woods, I don't shoot coyotes or bobcats. They live. We don't have a ton, hear them but don't see a lot, and out fawn recruitment numbers are pretty good. So I would easily choose the pig for sure

I wouldn’t wait 30 seconds to shoot the pig he would be dead as soon as he walked out

If I had the time to shoot the hog and then shoot coyotes over said hog I would, but I know I don't. We don't see much in the way of hogs since we penned the feeders so I would bust the coyote if he gave me enough time. Most of ours only cross a sendero and if you aren't up and ready with the gun your not gonna get a shot.

We have about 1000x too many hogs and probably only 2-3x too many yotes. Easy decision.

We don't have hogs, yet, and coyotes are shot.

Wife gets pissed & drills boar in the head DRT- text me what to do - told her to sit tight see what happens - 10min later hear another shot- get another text -saying yote came out to eat her pig so she shot his [censored] also- lol when I went to pick her up she had yote stacked on top of pig and was still pissed

For me, it would be a toss up only because I want to skin a coyote or bobcat and tan the hide
Never done it
But if the hog had some awesome cutters, I may take him first because I wanna try and Euro a hog
Never done it either

Yotes are a bigger threat to fawns, so they go first. If you ever see a yote chasing a doe with a fawn, you won't think twice about which one you would shoot first. I've yet to see a hog chasing a deer!

Pig should always go first. Non-native, destructive, and a nuisance. I never shoot coyotes. Deer populations are too high is almost all areas now and coyotes help keep deer and small mammal populations in check. Pretty much the only effective predator we have left now.
