The winch mounted on a stand about 16" towards the back of the trailer will finish it out. Kinda slippery standing up there and dragging that bad boy onto the deck.

Here's mine. The board at the rear lifts out, allowing you to slide the animal in.

I have this great game hoist. Gonna get a bolt on receiver hitch and mount it under the frame at an angle on rear corner. It swivels and will work great. I just didn't want something this tall sticking up, but it breaks down into two pieces so shouldn't be a problem.

Yall do yourselves a favor and invest in these - American made and quality winches. Over the last few years I've been replacing all of my hand crank winches on feeders with these, and also work great for winching animals into trucks or onto trailers. Bolting one on the back of my tilt bed Ranger. 3/8" drive Dewalt cordless drill on LOW works great to operate it, just need an adapter and a 5/8 socket.

You could get a hand winch which is easiest or in a pinch you could take the trailer off the receiver hitch and tilt it. If the wheels are far enough back, chock the tires and put a stick into the ground and trailer's ball position to keep it from moving side to side. Use the atv and a rope to pull the pig up onto the platform.

I drag them to the "bone yard."

I done that, lots. If I want to get one back to camp to weigh or show off it's five miles, mostly on a gravel road. I feel sorry for them, wanna show them some respect and transfer their dead a--'s in a dignified manner.

Absolutely not

I like that. When I drag them, I have a 7' section of chain with a snap link on both ends. I cut them though the rear hock, stick the chain through and snap it. The other end goes around my ATC hitch.
