Just wanted to post about a good experience with Cedar Eaters of Texas. We originally met back in late 2018, but with the wet conditions we were just able to get the initial project completed. One of their operators came out with a forestry mulcher equipped skid loader and in about 10 hours of work, cleared roughly two acres of brush in one pasture, and also opened up about 1/4 mile of fence line. This fence was so overgrown with salt cedar, prickly pear, and mesquite that I had no idea what kind of shape of the fencing. It turned out to be mostly good.

The operator showed up on time, worked his tail off with very little down time, and took direction very well. The company also provides mesquite clearing using an excavator and grapple. In my case, I opted to go the faster route with the skid loader and now I will go back in a spray any regrowth with Remedy/Diesel. My issue was that the brush was so thick I could not get into spray, so kind of 6 in one hand. This is just a start to what will likely be a multi-year process, but hey, you have to start somewhere.

'Good to hear a good report and I guess the son has matured. I tried to use them years ago on a place and, 6 months after I'd asked for a quote, the son called me and said "Yeah, Dad said I should call you...". I told him I'd already had the job done, which I had.

I'm probably going to need a lot of that type of work done on a new place fairly soon.

Creek, guessing the son you dealt with is the same person I met with, and if so, he was very responsive. He came out first time and walked land with me, mapped, and quickly got me a quote. We only did about 1/4 of the overall project to start (my budget), but he stayed in touch and coordinated everything, then checked in a time or two on progress. Also, the operator seemed to be new to the company, but man, he was money.
