Picked up a 12 gauge Ithaca Turkey Slayer for this season. Will be using Federal TSS for the first time too. Finished patterning her in this evening. Ithaca Turkey Slayer 12 gauge Indian Creek .670 choke Federal TSS 3" 1.75 oz #7 40 yards - 162 pellets in 10" circle

Get you som #9s. That pattern will be a hell of a lot denser and 9s will kill a turkey a lot further than one ought to kill a turkey at.

I gotcha. Get the stuff and load your own brother. Pretty easy and the results are a lot better than what you can buy. Also...look at apex I'd you want to buy shells. That Turkey slayer I'd an awesome gun.

That Turkey slayer I'd an awesome gun. A friend of mine has a 12 gauge press. I may give shotshell reloading a try. I'm an experienced reloader for my rifles, but not shotguns. May PM you when I try to get some tips!

I would be willing to help out as much as you need buddy. You dont need a press to reload TSS. You will use a roll crimper. All you need is the shot, powder, wads, buffer, hulls, scale, overshot cards, roll crimper, and a vise for the hulls. Some loads will require felt, gas seals, or cork but that all depends on your loads. The loads I make for my 20 only have hull, powder, nitro cards, wad (that has been put in micca), shot, buffer, overshot card and then roll crimp them. Pretty quick process for sure.
