Group of young families heading out west from Baton Rouge this June. Plan to spend 3 days in Wimberley. Registered for blue hole, Hamilton pool, Jacobs well. Plan to eat at the Marina on Canyon Lake and swim at the public beach nearby. Also plan to eat at Inzo's one day. Then we'll head towards Uvalde, stopping at Guadalupe River State park for a few hours on the way. We have the living waters ranch in Uvalde rented for 4 nights. Its on the nueces river. Plans are to spend our time there doing some outdoor cooking and enjoying the river. Anyone think theres anything I'm missing that we'd enjoy? We have kids between 12 and 2 years old. Thanks for any tips you may have. Rabbit

If you are on Facebook ask on "The Backroads of Texas". https://www.facebook.com/groups/56801126137/There are people on there that are better than travel guides at directions to places to see all over Texas.

Take a drive to Leaky and Camp Wood. you will be amazed at the scenery. Yep. Ranch road 337 between Leakey and Camp Wood is amazing. Not for the faint of heart.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.
