What tires do you recommend to replace the Dunlops the mule comes with. Want to try and use the stock rims. 23 x 11 -10

Discount Tires ordered some for my Gator and mounted them.

We used to buy the new factory take-offs at Stroeher & Olfers in Fredericksburg years ago for around $45 a piece for the new tire and rim. They took them off when someone wanted a different tire/rim setup. They usuallty had limited quantities or were sold out most of the time. Might check to see if they still sell those today.

Thanks for the suggestions. I would love to get some ESSEX. They don't have a tire for my rim size. Have to upgrade rim size, do a lift, etc. May go with just Sun F 6 Ply Radial or Kenda Bearclaws.

Break down and buy the Essex 27’s put a lift on and you’ll never be sorry. I ruined two factory tires with tractor sealant. One on the opening weekend of quail season several years ago in the first 20 minutes after putting dogs down. That ruined my day and I put the Essex tires on. I can’t ruin these tires and with the lift I’ve never been able to stick it. Look at all the extra clearance you get.

The Kenda Bearclaw is a very soft tire. It wears fast and is not as puncture resistant as others. They do offer good traction and a smooth ride. There’s always a trade off.

Buy you a 10 ply radial UTV tire.... It will take the sway out that 4010s are notorious for...Like the other mentioned I put a 2 inch lift for more clearance.. I bought tires and rims onluine shipped cheaper than most places wanted for just tires....

Another vote for putting a lift and some of the Essex tires on. Had a set on my old trans mule and dad currently has a set on his Kubota RTV that have been on there for 10 years and still going strong. Either of us have yet to have a flat with the two sets we've had. It's much easier to buy the tire and wheel kit already mounted.
