What do you do to stop this from happening to your protein feeders? I've probably missed plenty of posts on this, but thanks for any help.

I got medieval with them on my Boss Buck. You'll see them sold as Shark Teeth or something like that. You can get them at Home Depot for a couple dollars, they are used to join two sections of board. I later added another section behind what you see.

In my experience you'll have zero coon issues (or very little other than curiosity) at a gravity protein feeder if you keep ONLY protein in it. Keep corn out and the majority of that problem is solved

Carpet tack strips siliconed to the legs of feeder solved out problems...one on opposite sides of legs... very cheap and effective
