Picked up a 19 week old pup this weekend. Always had Brittanys so thinking about training - looking in the DFW area. Would love any recommendations, especially if they have experience with Chessies. Thanks!

Thanks Huck! I'll check them out. And yes, he has been with the breeder (who is also a hunter/outfitter). But he has got started a little because of that. I have video of him going into the water and retrieving a throw and a real duck, so he has a good start. I'm just getting to know him and trying to continue that.

These early months are very important for the pups development. You want to expose him to as many people and places as you can (in a positive way of course) to build up their confidence and get them socialized. Good luck.
