Hey guys, I’m looking to book out a duck hunt for me and 3 friends next Jan. Looking for recommendations of a good place that includes lodging roughly 3-4 hours from Dallas, and ideally $1000 or less per person for a weekend.
Thank in advance!

Free up some PM space as it will be on fire shortly.
Meanwhile, I would recommend Muddy waters in Wichita Falls.
Also, with duck hunting, its never a guarantee, and if you spend that kind of money, its risky.
Why dont you do a combo of lets say, 1 day duck, 1 day goose, 1 day crane?
Muddy has all 3 of them, and depending on their scouting, will put you on birds the next day.
I would never book a 2-3 day stricktly duck trip in Texas and expect results (except for the panhandle) I would rather book with an outfitter who has a plan B and plan C set in place. Ducks get educated and pressured too fast. Im perfectly ok to shoot cranes or geese if the ducks aint working. You need to pick an outfitter who is flexible with them options.

North Texas Outfitters! Dakota is a great guy. Had the privilege to hunt with him when he worked at Kent Outdoors, and now he's running his own outfitter!

May be out of your distance and price range, not sure on cost, but Fowlco in Garber, Oklahoma is a first class operation and an amazing lodge
