The first 10 mins is blah blah blah about the rifles and a DLOC QD mount for my Pulsar APEX scope.

After the range session I walked into a blind about 125 yards off the range and waited to see if a hog who has been on game cam came around, yup - he made that mistake !

Recovered a Gold Dot bullet that had a retained weight of 113 grains.

Can I ask what is the popular caliber? Are semi autos approved? and are silencers allowed....?

By the way nice shooting....

If you’re from out of State the best bet is to find an Outfitter that has all the rifles and scopes setup for you to use.

For Texas residents, suppressors are legal, semi autos are legal, and the popular caliber(s) are :

In no particular order:

308 Winchester
6.5 Creedmoor
6.8 SPC
6.5 Grendel
.270 Winchester
30-06

Typically I skip through the shooting and range discussion stuff, but that was rather interesting.

Nice shot on the hog. No surprise that he didn't go far.

Thanks for the video. That was way better than watching those shooting at Ballistic Gel. Very educational.

I appreciate the reality of hog media versus ballistic gel, here is a video that followed the range day with the Grendel setup - pulled 3 Gold Dots out of this poor sow
